Radiohead’s ‘In Rainbows’ is the seventh album from the English Rock band. The album had been released on January 1st, 2008, in North America in TBD Records. This album contains some of my favourite songs by Radiohead such as “Nude” and “15 Step”. The band had arranged various styles of music in this album which makes it so interesting. Every song is unique and sounds different so it is as if each song is from a different genre/band. I’d rate this album 5 stars for it’s creativity and talent. The album totally deserves this recognition for the pure art they have contributed to the public. I’d recommend people with more of a taste for older music such as 70’s 80’s 90’s because what you’re going to hear from this band/album isn’t very mainstream sounding.
Keane - Hopes and Fears
Hopes and Fears an album from the British rock band Keane made it’s way to the second best selling British album, which that has alot to say for itself. It was released on the 10th of May in 2004. I have to say I love this album and shows some of my favourite songs from Keane such as “Bedshaped” and the most popular “Somewhere only we know”. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars for it’s new take on rock. There songs are very original and very creative adding a piano as a lead instrument instead of a guitar. There songs and lyrics aren’t just “songs” they have a meaning which adds to the beauty of there band. Each song has a different meaning of life problems going on, whether its people turning introvert from painful situations or just plain songs about someone you love. I recommend people to buy this album because you won’t find anything else like it.
